Passed on in peace, surrounded by family and friends on June 9, 2018 at Ashburton. Aged 70 years. Dearly loved and cherished by wife Annette. Loving Father and Father in law of Kelvin and Iris, Murray and Amanda, Peter and Rachel and Glenn and Grace.  Adored Opa to Anthony, Levi, Lilly, Asher, Noah, Daniel, and Nathan. Loved brother and brother in law of Eddy and Joye, Jopie and Theo and Bill and Alison. Close friends of Jock and Jenny, Alister and Gaylene, and Dick and April.

For he was gracious and compassionate,

 a righteous man who will be remembered forever.

Passed away peacefully at Ashburton, aged 87 years.  Dearly loved wife of the late Neil.  Much loved mother and mother in law of Karin, Martin and Denise, Jill and Phil.  Loved Gran and great Gran of Sam, Sarah, Fletcher and Georgie, Matt, Anya, Mason, and Hadlee; Michelle, Ben, Chloe, and Zach; Geraldine, Matt, Christian, and Ashton; Simon and Sian; Alice, and Sophie.  Messages to 70a Nursey Drive, Ashburton.  A special thankyou to Dr Penny Holdaway, the staff at Terraceview Retirement Village and Ward 1 Ashburton Hospital for their loving care of Shirley.  A service for Shirley will held at Our Chapel, cnr East & Cox Streets, Ashburton on Monday 11 June 2018, commencing at 1.30pm.  Following by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.
