Passed away peacefully in the care of the Rosebank Staff, Ashburton. Aged 91. Dearly loved wife of Desmond (Des) and loved mother of Rae and David Cretney (Melbourne) and Lynda (deceased), loved Granny of Andrea and Andrew Brown, Robert and Erika Cretney and a loved “Kiwi Great Granny” of Elijah, Oscar, Ivy and Esther Brown, Hamish, Liam and Abigail Cretney and a loved Aunty Fid to all her nieces and nephews.

Agnew, George Eric, On Wednesday 29th November 2017. Taken from us too soon. In his 67th year. Son of the late George and Beverly Agnew. Deeply loved and devoted husband of Lyndsay Agnew. Adoring Dad and father in law of Kimberley Taylor Coleman and Liam Coleman, Jordan and Sarah Agnew.  Devoted stepfather to Melanie Taylor, Kimberley Taylor Humphries and Selwyn Humphries, Andrew and Sarah Taylor and Kieran Scott and Jack Scott.  Besotted Grandad George to Bella, Kobe and Axel. Step Grandad to Charlie and Emma …… Beloved brother of Jan Scott and Robin Agnew. Beloved uncle to all his nephews and nieces. Messages to 4 Lilley Place, Methven. A service to celebrate George’s life will be held at the Methven Memorial Hall on Monday the 3rd of December at 2 pm, followed by a private cremation. His family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all the people, donations and support that was provided during the search for George. He died in a beautiful place, doing what he loved. George is, was and will always be a legend.
