SHEARER, Janette Sara: (Nettles) nee Rodger February 25, 2018

On February 25, 2018. Peacefully at home, Methven, after a short battle with Cancer. Dearly loved wife of Lyell. Loved mother and mother in law of Ben and Chris, and Lee-Ann and Symon Bell. Loved nana Net to Zack and Clay.

EVANS, William John: (Jack) February 23, 2018

Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, with family. In his 94th year. Loving and cherished husband of the late Pat. Beloved father and mentor of Pam and Phil, John and Kai, and Eunice and Glenn. Loving Granddad of David and Hannah, and Paul and Emily; Sarah, Ben, Amanda, and great Granddad of Katherine; and Oscar, and Hunter. Eldest brother of the late Merle, and Shona. A loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Dear to his many friends.

At his home in Ashburton, after a short illness. Loving husband of the late Pearl, father to Cavan Forde. Brother and brother in law of Les and Helen Wade, the late Velma and Taffy Roberts, and Shona and Ray Davies. Remembered with deep affection by his nieces and nephews Carol and Mike Edwards, Bob Roberts, Greg and Jenny Roberts, Julie and Greg McEwan, Joanne and David Pearson, Tania and Jason Wade and their families.

Father in law of Carl, and Roger.  Loved Grandad of Kallan, Joshua, Brodie, and Kezia; Tayla, Aria, and Kingston and great Grandad of Lachlan. GRIFFITHS (nee Goodwin) Ngaire  Agnes, passed away peacefully in the arms of her family on Sunday February 4, 2018, at Nurse Maude Hospice, Christchurch.  Aged 85 years.  Dearly loved wife and friend of the late Ivan Griffiths for 52 years.  Cherished and loving Mum and mother in law to Christine and David Janett and devoted and loving Nana to Hamish, Matthew, and Scott.  Loving daughter of the late Walter and Alma Goodwin and sister and sister in law to the late Stanley and Gwen Goodwin, the late Neville and Julie Goodwin, and Alister and Adrienne Goodwin.  A very special aunt, cousin and friend to many.  Special thanks to the staff at Christchurch Hospital Oncology Ward and Nurse Maude Hospice for their care of Ngaire.  In lieu of flowers donations to Nurse Maude Hospice would be appreciated and may be left at the service.  A service for Ngaire will be held in the Sinclair Centre, Park Street, Ashburton on Friday February 9, commencing at 1.30pm.  Followed by private interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.
