On February 23, 2018 peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, with family. In his 94th year. Loving and cherished husband of the late Pat. Beloved father and mentor of Pam and Phil, John and Kai, and Eunice and Glenn. Loving Granddad of David and Hannah, and Paul and Emily; Sarah, Ben, Amanda, and great Granddad of Katherine; and Oscar, and Hunter. Eldest brother of the late Merle, and Shona. A loved Uncle of all his nieces and nephews. Dear to his many friends.
