GALLAGHER, Grant William Burns: 18 April 1956 – 8 March 2018 peacefully at home, with his family by his side. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Tessa, devoted father of Jasmine, Dean, Garth, and the late Brent. Loved middle son of the late Allan and Shirley. A special member of the extended Gallagher, Jaine and Hayward families and a friend to many.

A service to celebrate Grant’s life will be held at his home “Antrim” 363 Anama Valetta Road, R D 8 Ashburton, on Monday March 12 commencing at 1.30pm. Followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.

VAN DER KROGT, Margaret Katherine: (nee Sullivan) On March 9, 2018 at Ashburton. Passed away peacefully in her 82nd year. She will be greatly missed by her children and their partners Nicola and Trevor Wall, Mitchel and June, Lloyd and Wendy, the late baby Mary, and Tony and Jennifer. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Natalie and the late Arthur Wells, the late Owen and Tina, the late Mervyn and Maureen, Nan and Allan Uden, the late Teddy, Tony and Karen, Melva and Ken Bell and all her nieces and nephews. Fun loving grandmother of Vicky, Nathan, Yarni, Eoin, Darragh, and Mia and great grandmother of Finlay. Together again with Nick van der Krogt, her late parents Ted and Myrtle Sullivan of Temuka and her great friend, the late Jack Dwyer. Marg will be missed by family, her many friends and the staff and volunteers she worked with at the Ashburton St Vinnies shop. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects to Margaret at her home, 281 Wills Street, Ashburton from 4pm on Sunday the 11th of March with a blessing at 7pm and/or attend her funeral service at The Church of the Holy Name, 58 Sealy Street, Ashburton on Monday March 12, commencing at 11.00am. Followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium

GROSE, Maisie Eileen on 3rd March 2018

At Coldstream House, Ashburton. In her 89th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Frank and loved sister of Bob, and Bill Glasson, Doris Vincent, Patricia Ransom and Freda Horrell (all deceased).Precious and loved Aunt, great Aunt and great great Aunt of her many nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff at Coldstream House for their loving kindness and care of Maisie. Maisie’s wish was for a private cremation which has been held.

MAYSON, Dorothy Elizabeth (Dot) On 27 February 2018

1930 – 2018 passed away peacefully on February 27, 2018 at Rosebank Rest Home, Ashburton. Loved wife of the late Alex, much loved mother of Karen, and Brent, son in law David and Grandmother of David and Pieta. Great Grandmother of Lachlan, Taj, and Oliver, (Perth). KEANE, Maureen Agnes; (nee Christey) March 3, 2018

Peacefully at Elmswood Hospital, Christchurch, aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, and mother and mother in law of Bernadette and Alistair Lowe, Rosemary, and Kevin Keane, and loved grandma of Caroline, and Vanessa. A loved sister, sister in law and aunt.

On February 25, 2018. Peacefully at home, Methven, after a short battle with Cancer. Dearly loved wife of Lyell. Loved mother and mother in law of Ben and Chris, and Lee-Ann and Symon Bell. Loved nana Net to Zack and Clay.
