passed away peacefully on 2 May 2020 at Ashburton Hospital.  Loved Dad of Sonya, and Aaron, best friend and husband of Marie, loved ‘Bry’ of Kim and John-Paul, Jake, Josh and Cassie Tenebaum; Hayden and Kylie, Jerome and Carter Bedford.  Messages to the Lloyd family c/-  P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  It was Bryon’s wish for a private cremation to be held.

FORBES, Grace Lillian: (formerly Smart) April 18, 2020

17/4/1937-18/4/2020

Passed away peacefully at Ashburton hospital with her beloved sons Michael and Robert by her side. Loving wife to the late Ash Forbes, Mum to Robyn (deceased). Much loved Mum to Gary and Jody (Perth) and mum in law to Debbie. Loved by her grandchildren, Angela, Vicki, Jason, Siobhorn, Logan, Dillon, Liam and Brearna. Loved great Nana, to be great great Nana, sister, aunty, cousin and to many a friend.

Grace will be greatly missed by us all,

A private cremation will be held for Grace but due to the current circumstances we are unable to hold a memorial however we will look at doing so at a later date.

Passed away peacefully on Friday April 17 2020 at Ashburton Hospital, aged 94. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordon, and dearly loved mother and mother in law of Neil and Denise Clemens. Messages to P.O. Box 453 Ashburton. The family sincerely thank all the staff at Rosebank Resthome and the Ashburton Hospital for all the love and care given to Yvonne over recent years. Donations to the Ashburton Branch of St Johns in memory of Yvonne would be gratefully appreciated. Due to current restrictions a private burial will be held.

PAGE, Joy Leonie: April 16, 2020

Passed away peacefully at Rosebank Resthome, Ashburton, aged 78 years.  Dearly loved sister of Brian Oliver, and much loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. Will be dearly missed by her good friend Dorothy and the Lefeber family.  Messages to P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  A special thank you to the staff at Rosebank Resthome for their loving care of Joy. Passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Arthur George Wells. Cherished mother and mother in law of Alison and John Menary, Graeme and Megan Wells, Jennifer and Mark Holmes, Carolyn and Jeffery Menzies, Kenneth Wells and Robert Wells. Treasured grandmother of all her grandchildren and their partners: Lisa and Ben, Carl and Victoria, and Talia and Cameron; Ashley and Emily and Clawrence; Callum and Toni, Courtney and Karl and Brittaney and Blair; Cameron and Henni, Kerris and Sabrina; Braden and Hilary; Aleisha and Mikayla and Cameron. Peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton. Aged 80 years. Husband of the late Joyce.  Father of Steven and Denise, John and  Lesley,  Lindsay and   Karen, and Glen and  Mel. Passed away peacefully at Radius Millstream Ashburton on April 8th, 2020, in his 91st year. A lifelong passion for the Fire Service, Music and the Performing Arts. Patron of Variety Theatre Ashburton and The Ashburton Fire Museum. Loved husband of the late Vi, and loved father and father-in-law of Peter and Larraine, Tony, and Nicola and Alan Lowe. Treasured Grandad of Jase and Amy, Daniel, Adam and Stacey Lowe and Kendall and Pete Lee. Dear great Grandad of Charlie, Huey, Oscar and Ted McQuarters and Brody Lowe.
