On August 24, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by family at Radius Millstream, Ashburton aged 89 years. Much loved wife of the late Colin. 16.04.1942 – 22.08.2025It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Warren William Townsend after a short illness – in his 83rd year A wonderful husband to Carolyn for 54 years, a loving Dad to Campbell, Morgan and Leigh. and Grandad to Ryan and Lachie R.I.P. Died 13 August aged 72 years. Much loved wife of Christopher (“Chris”) Peter Stott and mother of Samuel (“Sam”) Peter Stott. Daughter of the late June and Peter Tapper (Pleasant Point). Eldest sister of Jan, Lynn, Murray, Michael, the late Kim and the late David. A cousin, aunt, great aunt, great-great aunt and friend. Much loved “Best Buddy”, “Soul Mate” and life-long friend of Annie Murrell. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton for their consideration shown to Dale while she was in their care. A private cremation has been held.
