MARCOTTE, Perry Leonard: July 14, 2018

MARCOTTE, Perry Leonard: 4 October 1944 – 14 July 2018

It is with great sadness that we inform friends of the passing of Perry Marcotte.Born in Quebec, Canada, Perry was father to Mathew, Joshua, Jessica and Samuel and ex-husband to Pamela. Pop-Pop to Jack, Charlie, Sonny, Jolene, Miles, Freya, Jonte, Sylvie and Zoe. Brother to Peter and Penelope and Uncle to Jamie, Pamela, Trevor and Jeff.  Perry spent most of his working life in New Zealand, on or around the ski fields, where his easy going personality, enjoyment of live music and love of skiing found a home. In later years he was often to be seen traveling the countryside in his blue, mo-hawked mini or silver convertible, always with Oi-dog at his side, visiting friends or heading to the west coast to be near his grand-kids. Friend to a great many, his sense of humor, kind heart and generosity will be missed by all who knew him. There will be a celebration of his life in early September with a get together of family and friends to meet and scatter his ashes over the mountains that he so loved. The family invite those interested in sharing stories or attending to get in touch via email;  jessica_marcotte@hotmail.com
