Died peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Tuarangi Rest Home, Ashburton on Friday March 31, 2023. Dearly cherished wife of Des Syme. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Fiona and Richard Maw, Nigel Syme, and Sharon and Karl Viney. Loved grandmother to George and Emily, Ava and Jack. Loved sister and sister in law of Shirley and Joe Alexander (Christchurch), Margaret Hotene (Porirua), John and Daphne Syme(Staveley), Errol and Jocelyn Syme, Ivan and Annette Syme and loved aunty to all her nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank the staff at Tuarangi Rest Home for their wonderful care given to Kay over the past two years.
