SMITH Alan John; On July 21,2017. Aged 82 years. With deep sadness we note the passing of a cherished husband of Gina, and father and father in law of Garth and Elaine, Mark and Ann, Tony, Jason and Donna, Kerry and Craig and adored Pop of all his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care team and staff at Ashburton Hospital. Also we would like to thank the staff of Rosebank Resthome and Radius Millstream for their wonderful care of Dad. Even expected passing’s are tough, but focusing on celebrating on a life lived and reminiscing those special moments that made Alan, Alan, will help our mourning process. Rest in Peace. The service to celebrate Alan’s life will be held at the Ashburton Club and MSA, Havelock Street, Ashburton on Tuesday July 25, commencing at 1.30pm. Followed by private cremation at Ashburton Crematorium.
