passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on January 4, 2022, in his 90^th year. Dearly loved and respected husband of Ngaire.  Treasured father and father in law of Dianne and Anthony Prendergast, Jillian and Peter Mackenzie-Jackson, Warren and Karina Mackenzie and Lynda Mackenzie and partner Dave.  Loved and cherished Grandad of his 7 grandsons, Michael and wife Michelle, Blake and Lisa, Lane, Angus, Fraser, Flynn, and Lachlan.  In lieu of flowers donations to St John would be appreciated and may be left at the service.  Messages to the Mackenzie family P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  A celebration of Neil’s life will be held at the Hotel Ashburton, Racecourse Road, Ashburton on Monday January 10, commencing at 11.00am, followed by a private interment.
