On October 3, 2026, peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, after “the long goodbye” with vascular dementia. Aged 76 years. Loved husband of Bernadette. Loving father of Caroline and partner Keir Leslie, and Vanessa and Daniel Saveski (UK). Loved brother-in-law of Rosemary, and Kevin Keane. Brother of Harry, Gerald (Perth), the late Jane, and the late John and uncle of their families. Sincere thanks to the staff of Tuarangi Home for their excellent care of Alistair over the last two years.
