Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, after a courageous battle.  Dearly loved husband of Ruby for 60 years.  Much loved father and father in law of Alyson and Alistair Benfell, Warren and Rachael, and Karen and the late Jim King.  Adored Grandad of Tony, and Sara; and Jamie, and Jacob.
