(Regiment: RA -Gnr 23801814) – on August 14th 2026. Passed peacefully, surrounded by loving family, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband of Sandra. Loved and respected Dad and father-in-law of Lesley & Philip, Debbie & Steve and Alan. Much loved Grandad to Letitia, Aimee, Kirsten, Melissa, Murran, Skye, Emma and Sarah, and adored great-Grandad of 18. Loved brother-in-law to Rita and Rick, and his nephews and nieces. Special thanks to Ward 2, Ashburton Hospital and staff at Tuarangi Home who respectfully cared for Brian in his final weeks, and to the ‘Home based support services’ over the past seven months. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation would be appreciated and can be made at his service. Brian’s Memorial service will be held in Our Chapel, Cnr East and Cox Streets, Ashburton on Saturday 22nd August commencing at 11.00am.
