On October 23, 2018. Passed away peacefully, in Ashburton. Dearly loved husband of Barbara. Cherished father and father in law of Sarah and Kendall, Laura and Nigel, Emma and Luke, James and Chloe and ‘Grandad Bernie’ of Rupert, and Tilly; Angus, and Margot; and Harry. A Requiem Mass to celebrate Bernie’s life will be held at the Church of the Holy Name, Sealy Street, Ashburton, on Monday October 29, commencing at 11.00am. Followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.
