peacefully at Terrace View Retirement Village, Ashburton, aged 86 years.  Loved son of the late Dora and Bill (formerly of Mason’s Flat, Hawarden)  Loved brother and brother in law of the late Francis, and Betty, the late Ivan, and Isabel, the late Trevor, and Merle and Alan, Max and the late Shirley, Robert and the late Elizabeth, Louisa and the late Gerald McAslan, David and Janice.  Respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Terrace View and Dr Penny Holdaway for their exceptional care and attention of Allister.  Messages to the Crean family, P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  A service to celebrate Allister’s life will be held in Our Chapel, cnr East & Cox Streets, Ashburton, on Tuesday August 29, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.
