PROCTER Reginald John  (Reg), (formerly of Cambridge):  Passed away peacefully on December 24, 2017 at Radius Millstream, Ashburton.  Aged 87 years.  Loved husband of the late Isabel.  Loved and respected father and father in law of Chris (Melbourne), David and Michelle (Toowoomba), and James and Lynley.  Loved grandfather of Mathew, Jason and Talor;  George, Quinn and Hazel; Hamish, Jeremy and Penny. NICHOLAS Patricia Mary On December 29, 2017

NICHOLAS Patricia Mary (nee Poff): On 29 December 2017.  Peacefully at Methven House, aged 92 years.  Devoted wife to Bill for 65 years.  Much loved mother to Michael, Christine, Paul, Gerard (R.I.P), Joanne, and Kevin.  Dearly loved Nana to James, Iszac, Alexander, Jonty, and Isabella.  The family wishes to acknowledge the tender care extended to Patricia at Methven House.  In lieu of flowers donations to Methven Care Trust would be appreciated.  A Requiem Mass will be held at Our Lady of Snows Catholic Church, Methven on Wednesday January 3, 2018 commencing at 11.00am.  Followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium. A Rosary will be held at the Church the evening before at 7.00pm.

FERRIS Cheryl Ann On December 28, 2017

FERRIS Cheryl Ann Margaret. It is with great sadness that we advise Cheryl Anne Margaret Ferris (nee Leonard) passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Thursday 28th December 2017.  Dearly loved mother of Adrian, and Nicholas Ferris, and mother-in-law of Kate Logan, Amy Ferris and Karyn Molloy and most loved grandmother of Olivia, Madison, Millar and Kieran.  Cheryl was the heart of our family unit and not a day will go by that we will not think of her and miss her terribly.  Her kind, generous and welcoming spirit was an inspiration to all of us. CURRIE Edna (formerly Hydes) (nee Petrie): On December 24, 2017 , peacefully at Terraceview Retirement Village, Ashburton. Aged 97 years.  Wife of the late Bill, and the late Percy Hydes.  Loved mother and mother in law of Adrienne and Warwick Wooding, Lorraine and Robert Keeley, and Douglas and Judy Hydes.  Loved Nan of her 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Loved sister of Jim, Murray, Phyllis and Dennis, and the late Helen, Alison, Hazel and Doug.  Messages to the Currie family, c/- P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  A private family interment will be followed by a Memorial Service at St Stephen’s Anglican Church, Park Street, Ashburton on Wednesday January 3, 2018 commencing at 11.00am.

Died peacefully at Rosebank Rest Home on Wednesday December 13, 2017. Aged 84. Dearly loved and cherished husband and best friend of Zeta.  Loved and cherished father and father in law of Vicki and Keith Smith, and adored grandad of Ben, Josh, and Abby. Twin of the late Ramona Double. Very loved and respected step father of Allan and Helen, Heather and Greg, Phillip and Margaret and most loved grandad and great grandad. At Ray’s request a private celebration of his life was held on Saturday, December 16, 2017. Special thanks to the staff at Rosebank for the care Ray received and all involved in his care at home.
