Died suddenly at home, Ashburton on July 18, 2018. Loved husband of Judith and father and father in law of Carolyn and John O’Brien, Juliet and Peter Kelly, Guyon and Fiona Cameron, and Sarah and Seaun Lovell. Beloved grandfather of Sophie, and Milly O’Brien; Jack, Laura, and Angus Kelly; Ella, Molly, and Hugh Cameron; and Tilly Lovell. A proud father and grandfather and generous friend to many. On July 17, 2018. Peacefully on the eve of his 86th birthday, at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton. Dearly loved husband of the late Patricia Ann (Pat). Cherished Dad and Poppa of Nicola (Nicki), Zoe and Jack (Williams), and Mallory Goss (ChCh), Andrea and John, Matthew, and Hamish Trenchard (ChCh), Ritchie and Debbie, Allister and Aimee, Harrison, and Nathan. On July 12, 2018 at home, surrounded by all his loving family, Terry passed peacefully aged 66 years.  Dearly loved and treasured husband and best friend of Monica (nee Lawler), loved father and friend of Daniel and Carla, Riley and Frederique, Shaun and Anita, Amber and Brian, loved Granddad of Caylah. Loved youngest son of the late Iris and Pat O’Neill, and loved brother of Kevin and Errol.  At peace now after a very determined and courageous battle.Our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to Dr Penny Holdaway, Ashburton District Nurses, the Oncology department and Ward 26 of Christchurch Public Hospital. The service for Terry will be held at the Rakaia Community Centre, Elizabeth Avenue, on Monday July 16, 2018 commencing  at 1.00pm, followed by Internment at Rakaia Cemetery.
