After a short illness, passed peacefully at Ashburton Hospital. Cherished wife of Bob Parsons. Beloved mother of David, and Grant. Beloved grandmother of Shona Parsons. Special thank you to AAU at Ashburton Hospital. A private cremation has been held.

On June 8, 2019 at Ashburton. Aged 92 years. Dearly loved wife of Ron for 59 years. Much loved and adored Mum of Brent and Jill, Rhonda and Grant, and Steph and Johnny. Much admired Nana of Brad and Lauren, Sam and Fi, Matthew and Sarah and Corey and Emma. Messages to 27 Davis Crescent, Ashburton 7700. HOLDAWAY, Heather Nicholas: June 10, 2019

Passed away peacefully at Rosebank Resthome, Ashburton, aged 91 years.  Dearly loved wife of the late Barry and dear friend of the late Bill Liggit.  Much loved mother and mother in law of Toni Louise, Nicholas and Catherine, and Michael and Mary-Jo.  Loved Grandma of Alexander, Andrew and Katie; Henry, Elizabeth, and Sam; Elena, Robyn, Heather and their partners.  Great Grandma of Hugh, Ayla, Tom, and Matthew.  A special thank you to the staff at Rosebank for their loving care of Heather. On June 8, 2019. Passed away at Christchurch Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Aged 61 years. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Glenda. Loved and adored Dad of Stacey, Robert, and Peter and Erin and Andrew. Loving Grandad of Tyler, Riley, James, Todd, Ashleigh, Amy, and Jonathon. Loved brother and brother in law of Peter and Heather, John and Prue, Tanya Pompey, and Donna Manning. Loved brother in law of Crawford Macdonald and Lyndia Tull, and Marilyn and Paul Heath. HOBBS, Shirley: June 7, 2019

On June 7, 2019. Peacefully at Methven House. In her 93rd year. Dearly loved wife of the late Ron. Much loved mother and mother in law of Bruce, Maree and Michael Isherwood, and Glenys and Kelvin McBeth. Adored and special Nan of all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Loving sister of Ivy, the late Kathleen, the late Myrtle and their families.  Messages to the Hobbs family P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740. A service for Shirley will be held at the Mt Hutt Memorial Hall, Main Street, Methven on Friday June 14 commencing at 1.00pm. Followed by private interment.

SULLIVAN, Eugene James: (formerly of Dunedin) June 6, 2019

At Ashburton Hospital on June 6, 2019. Loved husband of the late Marjorie, loved father, father in law and friend of Grant and Janice (Christchurch), Elaine and Kevin Rae (Rangiora), Bronwyn Munro and Dave Allan (Ashburton). Loved Grandfather of Michael and Kelly, Nicola and Nathan, Daniel and Casey; Jef, Simon and Fiona and great Grandad of Bridget and Arla. Eugene will be missed by his many neighbours and friends that he has made during his time in Ashburton, especially Yvonne.

Messages to 5 Millichamp Street, Ashburton 7700. Special and many thanks to Ward 1 Ashburton Hospital for their care and support and to St John Ambulance staff. Eugene’s wishes for a private cremation have been honoured and he will rest with Marjorie at Andersons Bay Cemetery in Dunedin.

SCHOFIELD, Heather Mary: June 6, 2019

Passed away June 6, 2019. Aged 89 years.  Loving partner of the late Rod, loving mother, mother in law, grandmother and friend to John, Jo, Shona, Kelly, Matthew, Brent, Brad and Christeena. Special GG to Scarlett.

Loved by her family overseas including Estrid and Tony, Lizzie, David, Jane and their families. Heather will be remembered for her courage and independence. A memorial service to celebrate Heather’s life will be held at Mt Somers Anglican Church, Hoods Road, Mt Somers on Monday June 10, commencing at 2.00pm.

WOODS, Keith William: (Wilbur) 3.1.1953 – 2.6.2019

Loved husband and friend of Vicki. Treasured Wilbs to Sarah and Brooke, Jason, Kelvin and Tui. Loved Grandad of William, Damian, Connor, the late Harlyna, Quade, and Griffin.  Loved son of Janet and the late Wally and loved brother and brother in law of Murray, Russell and Christine (all Dec’d). Special friend of Selina and her family. Son in law of John Logan, Doug Martin and Marie Giles.

Mum passed away peacefully at Rosebank Resthome, Ashburton in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Stanley.  Much loved Mother, Mother-in-law, Nana and Great Nana to David and Cheryl Williams, Bruce Williams, the late Noeline Kaye, Kenny Williams, Carol and Keith Gunn, Dawn and Mark Green and their families. Loved by many. A Private Service has been held.  Interment of ashes in Timaru with Stanley John.
