Passed away peacefully at home on August 25, 2019, aged 66. A loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him for his loving, gentle way and his quick wit. Messages to the Hackett Family, P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740. At Glenn’s request a private cremation has been held and a gathering for those who loved him and enjoyed his company will be held at the family home from 2.00pm on the afternoon of Saturday 28th September.

On Friday 23rd August 2019, at Rosebank Rest home, Ashburton, in her 105th year.. Loved wife of the late John (Jack) Young. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Maurice Rankin, the late Peter Young, Janet and Malcolm Olds, John and Karen Young and Alison and Graeme Wakelin. A service celebrating Betty’s life will be held at St David’s Union Church, Allen’s Road, Allenton, Ashburton on Friday  August 30, commencing at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.

On August 13, 2019 at Ashburton Hospital aged 85 years. Loving wife and soulmate of the late George. Peacefully on July 31, 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer, aged 40. Much loved wife and best friend of Jeremy (Ducky), much loved mother of Jack, Isla, Alice, Gabbie, and Walter. Treasured daughter of Rex and Hilary Evans, daughter in law of Paul, Ruth and the late Rowena Duckmanton.
