IVISON, John Wesley: 8.1.1932 – 16.12.2019

John passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on Monday evening. A devoted husband, best friend and soul mate to Ruth. Much loved brother to Joan, respected uncle to the Lawrence boys and their families and brother in law to Trevor and Barbara Greasley.

We are extremely grateful to Dr Penny Holdaway and her team, the staff on ward one, St John, and the Cancer Society for their care of John over the past week and finally to Tony Sands and his staff and all our friends at Lochlea, thank you for your love and support and for being there for us during this difficult time.  At John’s request a private cremation has been held.

On December 11, 2019 passed away peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her family. Dearly loved wife of Chris, cherished mother and mother in-law of Chris and Trudy and Bronwyn and Warren, adored grandmother of Jacob, Carlin, Stella and partners, Holly, Nathan, and Ryan and a loved aunty, cousin and friend of many. Mum would be upset if we didn’t include her loving and loyal companion of the four legged variety, Jackson.
