 on 17 November 2025, at Radius Millstream, Ashburton, aged 86.Loved husband of Maureen (nee Shea), loved father and father in-law of Maree and Jeremy, Paul and Clio, Karen and Ross, Jane and Edward.  Loved Grandad of his 11 grandchildren.  Messages to the Easton family, P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  A Requiem Mass to celebrate John’s life will be held at the Church of the Holy Name., Sealy Street, Ashburton on Friday November 21, commencing at 2.00pm. Followed by interment at the Ashburton Seafield Lawn Cemetery.

 MATTHEWS Graham Albert,

passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on Friday 14 November,2025, one day short of his 89th birthday, with his beloved family by his side .Dearly loved husband of Yvonne, devoted father and father-in-law of Shane and Brenda, Wendy, Barry and Ann, and Brendan. Very much loved Poppa and Grandpop of his 8 grandchildren and cherished great Pop of his 5 great grandchildren. Many thanks to Radius Millstream and Ashburton Hospital for their love, care and support to Graham. IRELAND Peter Wallace

CMT No. 888234. 9th Intake, Scottish Regiment. With broken hearts we said goodbye to Peter, who passed peacefully surrounded by his family in the care of Tuarangi Home, Ashburton on Wednesday November  12th, 2025, aged 92.  Dearly loved husband, best friend and soul mate of Gwenda (Rosebank) for 69 years.  Treasured father and father in law of Doug and Maree, Geoff and Sandra, Jeanette and Chris Price, Ian and Cindy, and Maree and Peter MacLean.  Beloved Pop of his 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.  Loved brother of Ann and Hugh Denys (dec), Margaret (dec) and Murray Eder, and Beverly and Leo (dec) McGlead.  Special uncle of his nieces and nephews.  Messages to the Ireland family, P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  We would like to thank Dr Malcolm Wootton for his care and compassion for Dad.  We acknowledge the wonderful staff in AAU and Ward’s 1 and 2, Ashburton Hospital who cared for him so compassionately.  We also thank the staff at Rosebank Resthome, Princes Court, and Tuarangi Home for their loving care of Peter, and thank you to the obliging staff at Netherby Pharmacy. ‘Peace at Last’

‘The Big Cheese’ on November 8, 2025, at her home at Rosebank Lifecare, Ashburton. Dearly loved wife of the late Gordie. Loved partner and friend of Donne Collins. Dearest and treasured Mum of Diane and Doug Carrodus, Brendan and Gaye, Lloyd and Emma, Duncan and Louise. Special Nana June of Jaimee and Hayden, Erin and Kyle, Toni (dec), Sally, and Claire, Shannel and Cody, Jonty and Gemma; Nick and Sarah, Jessica and Josh, Gatley; Anna and Dan, Rory and Tandia. Adored Great Nana of Hunter, Bailey, Addie, Sophie, Mason, Isabella, Millie and Charlotte. Loved adopted mum of the Bowen and Tansley families.  on October 30, 2025, peacefully at Ashburton Hospital after a brief illness, in her 91st year. Much loved wife of Colin. Loved mother of Annette, Karen, Pauline (dec), Beverley, Trevor, and Sandra. DUFF Roger Grant-

11/03/1936 – 26/10/2025. Roger passed away on the 26th of October 2025 at Rosebank Lifecare, Ashburton,  at the age of 89. Dearly loved and cherished by family and friends. Rogers’ smile and sense of fun was infectious and will be  missed.
