STODDART Janice Margaret (Jan) (Nee Prichard), on August 2nd 2021

–‘The Butcher’, sadly passed away on July 31st, 2021 after recently celebrating his 80th birthday. Loving father and father-in-law of Angela, Rob and Charlotte, Richard and Greer, Ashley and Jess. Grandfather to Jaz, Brendon, Angus, Eliza, Jonty and Art. Cherished brother of Jessie and his late siblings. Special thanks to Dr Penny Holdaway and the staff at Rosebank for his care. A memorial service will be held for close friends and family at 2pm on Thursday August 12th at the Tinwald Function Centre (behind the Tinwald Tavern). Passed away peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, aged 77 years.  Dearly loved husband of Karine.  Much loved father and father in law of Sarah and Steve Duder, Jo and Ben Needham (London), and Amy and Brian Lowe.  Very special Grandad of Lois; Riley, Kinneir, Archer, and Hazel. EVEREST Owen Wilfred, on July 25, 2021

at Ashburton. Passed away peacefully after a short illness, aged 86 years. Adored and much loved husband of Robin (Bridget) for 63 years. Loved father and father-in-law of Phill and Jos, Di and Nev (Australia) and Sue and Phil. Loved Grandad of Mark and Mel, Anna and James, Paul and Sarah, Loz and Jacob, Brit, Lucy, and Ben and special Great Grandad of Arthur, Emma, William, Patrick, Frank and Max.  Messages to the Everest family c/- P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740.  In lieu of flowers donations to Ashburton St John would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A service to celebrate Owen’s life will be held at St David’s Union Church , Allens Road, Ashburton on Monday August 2nd, commencing at 11.00am, followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.

 Passed away peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, on Monday 19 July, 2021. Loved husband of Bev. Loved Dad, father in law and Grandad of Lana, Jonesy, Josh and Jack; the late Darryn; Vanessa and Peter; Mark, Jo-Ann, Brayden and Sarah; and Brent, Hayley and Kyle. Loved brother and brother in law of Murray and Catherine. Loved uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A special thank you to the caring staff of Ward 1 at Ashburton Hospital. HAMPTON Ngaire (formerly Mackle), on July 18, 2021

passed away peacefully at Terrace View, Ashburton on the July 18th, 2021, aged 90 years.  Loved wife of the late Walter Mackle and the late Peter.  Dearly loved mother and mother in law of Marg Mackle, Christine and Bob Jack, Sue and Dave Williams, Mike and Gail Mackle and Kathy and Craig Chambers.  Loved and adored Nan to her 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  Heartfelt thanks to all who have provided care and support to Mum over the years.  A special note of thanks to the wonderful staff at Terrace View for the loving care and kindness that helped Mum’s passing to be dignified and peaceful.  Mum was loved by so many. Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital, aged 91 years.  Dearly loved wife of the late John (Jack).  Much loved mother and mother in law of Catherine, Lynette and Gary Eddington, and Jacqueline and Graeme Chisnall.  Adored Nan of Rachael and Nico, and John; Paul and Maria, and Ross.  Great Nan of Benjamin, and Hartley.  Loved sister of the late Des Everett.  Loved aunt of Fiona and Brendan, and great aunt of Cosmo, and the late Max. Friend of Pat.
