SHAW Paul Martin

Died peacefully on Monday January 26, 2026, at home surrounded by his family, aged 67 years. Dearly loved and cherished husband of Barbara, much loved and respected father and father in law of Katie and Brook Thorpe (Lincoln) James and Molly Shaw (Melbourne) and Victoria and Nick McIntosh (Auckland).  Adored Grandad of Amalie, Beau and Madeleine Thorpe, Harriet and Oliver Shaw, and Gargan of Harry McIntosh. Shore, Christopher Robert (Chris)

 Passed away peacefully at home on 26 January 2026, aged 83, with his beloved wife Sandra, his soulmate of 55 years, by his side. Much loved and cherished father of Mark, Nicky and Zoe, friend and father in law to Kelvin, and adored Grandad to Ollie, Josh, Max and Spencer. The Shore family sincerely thank all those who provided such incredible care, kindness and support to Chris and the family during this time. In accordance with Chris’s wishes, a private cremation has been held. A passionate farmer, respected horseman and devoted family man, Chris will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.

TONEYCLIFFE Anne

On January 19, 2026, passed peacefully at Radius Millstream following a short illness. Aged 88 years. Beloved mother of Peter, Barry, Penny (deceased), Karen, and David (deceased).
We are devastated with the loss of our Mum on Monday. Truly a remarkable woman and mother, who taught us the meaning of unconditional love and the importance of family. The road ahead of us will be more difficult without her guidance, understanding and compassion. Now, resting in the arms of the angels with those who have gone ahead. LEE, Gaynor Marilyn (Gay)

On January 13, 2026, at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous journey. Aged 82 years. Dearly loved wife of Winston. Adored mum of Annette (Annie), Sharon, and Michelle and her partner Ben. Much loved Grandma of Cameron and Eliza, Taylor and Lucy; Sarah and Lauance , Bianca and Jacob, Holly, Ella and Maliek and great Grandma and GG of Mason; and Lincoln, Aidan, Matilda, Katie, and Jaxson and the late Stella. On January 9, 2026. Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital. Aged 87 years. Dearly loved wife of John. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sharon, Warren and Sandy, Carol Dyet, and Kay and Des Rogers. TOURLE, Peter John

Passed away peacefully on Saturday January 10, 2026, at Tuarangi Home, surrounded by his loved ones both near and far, after a brave fight. Aged 84 years. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.  Madie, Ilse, Sam, Rodie and their families would like to thank you all for the kind messages and flowers we have received.
