It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tom, on May 6, 2026, in Cromwell, aged 81 years. Best friend and devoted husband of the late Dee. Much-loved father and father-in-law of Jan and Greg, Mark and Pip and Brad and Emma. Proud grandfather of Emily, Thomas, Grace, James, Chloe, Oliver, River Dee and Haze. Loved son of the late Peter and Patricia Simmons (Ranfurly). Tom worked as a livestock representative and was well respected for his down-to-earth nature and strong connection to people and the land. An avid sports supporter Tom held a special passion for the Otago rugby team. He also enjoyed bike riding and spending time with his family. Messages to 34 Jollys Road, Cromwell, 9310.
