EMERY Gwendoline Mary, (Gwen) passed away peacefully on February 21, 2017 at Ashburton Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Aged 91 years. Dearly loved wife and companion of Frank for 68 years. Loved mother and mother in law of Colleen Priest, Trevor and Chleone, Joyce and Stuart Scammell, Helen and Wayne Laughton, Trish and Bruce Gibson, Kevin and Carmen and grandmother of Bec, and Tim; Kellie, Tessa, and Penny; Neil, and Mark; Anna and Kate; Jacqui, and Peter and their partners, and Conor, and Flynn. A Funeral Mass for Gwen will be held at the Church of the Holy Name, Sealy Street, Ashburton on Thursday February 23, commencing at 11.30pm. Followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at the Church on Wednesday commencing at 6.30pm.
