passed away after a brave and courageous battle on Friday, 7 August, 2026, at Ashburton Hospital, surrounded by loving family and friends. Loved partner of Avon, cherished daughter of Ian and Heather, sister and sister in law of Dave and Bern, Geoff and Karen. Loved Aunty and treasured friend and colleague to many. The family would like to sincerely thank medical/oncology/District Nursing staff for their care & support allowing Dawn to be able to stay at home as long as she could. A celebration of Dawn’s life will be held at Hotel Ashburton Function Room, Saturday, 22 August, 2pm.
