Devoted husband of the late Janyce, loved father of Adrienne and Alan Ayers, Henry and Marg, (Auckland) Wal and Nicki, (Cust) and Rosie and Russell (Wanaka). Grandfather of Peter and Anna, Steve, Mark and Amy; Rob and Jess, Bridget, Jamie and Zoey; Michael and Rachel, Chris, Joanna; and great grandfather of six.
