Peacefully at Ashburton Hospital on Tuesday June 9, 2026. Aged 87 years. Loved wife of the late Vern. Cherished and loved mother and mother-in-law of Brian and Megan, and Sue and Brent Gutsell. Loved grandmother of Matthew and Nicole, and Lauren and Tim; Aaron and Amy, Jason and Nicole, and Ryan and Crystal and great-grandmother of Theo; Joseph, and Matilda; Austin, and Beckett; Oliver, Evie, and Harper.  A long time patron of Ashburton Idea Services.  Special thanks to Terrace View Retirement Village for their dedicated care of Phyllis.
