SCOTT, Michael Andrew: March 31, 2019

Age 71 years, passed away March 31st 2019, at home in Ashburton, surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of Ross and Kowhitirangi and in the last 20 years, Ashburton. Much loved husband of Kate.  Loved and much respected Dad and father in law to Nicola and John McDonnell (Ashburton), Ryan Scott and Mimi Remolador (Ashburton), Natasha and Jason Baxter (Te Pirita). Granda of Jordon, Meeah, Scarlett, Lucia, Jack, Lachie, Emmett, and Ezra. Son of the late Stan and Cath Scott (Ross), brother and brother in law of John and the late Janet Scott (Dunedin), Terry and Maureen Scott (Dunedin), Helen Daisley (Dunedin) the late Robin and Judith Scott (Christchurch) Christopher Scott and Andrea Bontje (Brisbane), Helen and the late Bill Huaki (Hamilton), Allison and Gary Ford (Timaru), Rhonda Halstead (Dunedin). Special Uncle and great Uncle to his many nieces and nephews.  Much loved and respected friend of Norman and Dot Andrews, and family. A service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at the Church of the Holy Name, Sealy street, Ashburton on Friday April 5, commencing at 11.00am followed by a private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium.

Peacefully at Tuarangi Home, Ashburton, aged 83 years. Loved wife and soulmate of Jack for 60 years. Cherished mother of David, Gavin and Janet (Hogan). Loved mother-in-law of Marilyn, Sarah and Jeremy. Special Grandma of her nine grandchildren and their partners, and one great granddaughter. Messages to 135 Gleniti Rd, Timaru 7910. A celebration of Marion’s life will be held at St David’s Church, Allens Road, Ashburton on Thursday April 4, commencing at 11.00am.​Followed by a private cremation.

THRUPP Colin Bernard, On March 30, 2019

Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital.  Aged 81 years.  Loved father of Stephen, Sonia, and the late Wayne. Loved Grandad to Shannon and Janelle (Aust), and Mandy and Byron, and great Grandad of Charlotte, Madeline, and Rose; Skyla, and Baylee.  Messages to the Thrupp  familyc/- P O Box 472, Ashburton 7740. DUNLEA Donald William, On March 28, 2019

DUNLEA Donald William (late of Rakaia) Passed away peacefully at Christchurch Hospital on 28 March 2019, aged 73 years.  Dearly loved husband of Colleen and a dearly loved Dad of Carmen, and Craig and Helena.  Most dearly loved Grandy of Malaika, Tayla, Josh, and Cody.  Loved son of the late Grace and Ken, brother of the late Ross, and Jill, and Ian and Sharon.  Loved Uncle to all his nephews.  Loved son in law of Eric and the late June Gardiner and brother in law of Jeanette and Bernard Doody, and a loved Uncle.  Special thanks to all those who cared for Donald in the recent months.  Messages to 18 Elizabeth Avenue, Rakaia.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Rakaia Volunteer Fire Brigade would be much appreciated and may be left at the service.  A service to celebrate Donald’s life will be held at the Rakaia Community Centre, Elizabeth Avenue, on Thursday April 4, commencing at 1.30pm.  Followed by private cremation at the Ashburton Crematorium. “At Peace”
