“One of the Rangitata,  McNabs”  It is with a heavy heart that we let you know that our lovely Dorothy passed away peacefully at home at Cedar Grove, Seafield Road, Ashburton, surrounded by her loving family. On Friday 15 September 2017. She fought a courageous battle until the end. Our beautiful “Rose Lady” of Cedar Grove. Dearly loved and cherished wife of Walter for 60 years. Adored and cherished mother and mother in law of Wendy, Cynthia and Andy Ford, Stephen, and Diana and Warwick Small. Dearly loved grandma of Lynette and Barbara, Lydia and Elise, Josh and Daniel and great grandmother of Matthew. Dearly loved daughter of the late Daniel and Priscilla McNab and loved sister and sister in law of the late Hughie and Moira McNab and the late Bruce and Jean McNab and the late Edward (Ned) McNab. Loved aunt of Tony McNab, Trish and Chris Doherty, Maureen McNab, Kevin and Erin McNab, Terry McNab, Jillian McNab, and Paul and Marcia McNab.

Messages to 740 Seafield Road, RD 7, Ashburton 7777. A Requiem Mass for Dorothy will be celebrated at the Church of the Holy Name, Sealy Street,  Ashburton on Friday 22 September commencing at 10.30am followed by interment at the Ashburton New Lawn Cemetery.
